Robert L. Elkins M.D.

Dr. Elkins has been practicing in the field of urology for more than 20 years. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas in 1970 earning a B.A. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and was elected into the national honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha, in 1973. He completed his surgery internship at St Luke's Hospital of Kansas City in 1975 and his surgery residency there in 1976. He then completed his urology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1979.

Dr. Elkins has been certified by the American Board of Urology since 1981. He is currently a member of the American Urological Association, the Metropolitan Medical Society, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the South Central Section of the American Urological Association. He is a past president and a member of the Kansas City Urological Society. Dr. Elkins is licensed to practice medicine in both Missouri and Kansas.
