Nate Ballek, MD

Dr. Ballek has joined Kansas City Urology care after completing his fellowship in urologic reconstruction and prosthetics in 2013. He received his B.A with honors in 2003 and his M.D. in 2007 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed his urologic training at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL in 2012. Dr. Ballek then further specialized with training in a fellowship at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago in Male Genitourinary Reconstruction and Prosthetics, which he completed in 2013.

Dr. Ballek has presented at numerous national and regional meetings and has published articles in the Journal of Urology and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. In addition he has published textbook chapters in the Urologic Clinics of North America. During his fellowship he conducted clinical research concerning urethral stricture disease.

Dr. Ballek practices all aspects of general urology including minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy, robotics, and microsurgery. He has a special interest and training in percutaneous procedures for kidney stones, complex urethral stricture repair, adult hypospadias failure, male urinary incontinence, and male sexual health including penile prosthesis. Dr. Ballek is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Ballek is board certified with the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association.
