Michael A. Hughes M.D.

Dr. Hughes earned his Bachelor's (1990) and Master's (1994) degrees from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering. He performed biomedical research at Duke and later at the University of Kansas, publishing original research in the areas of geriatrics, rehabilitation medicine, and biomedical engineering. He subsequently graduated from the University School of Medicine in 2000. His residency was completed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, in 2005, during which time he published original research in Oncology.

Upon completing residency, Dr. Hughes returned to Kansas City to join Therapeutic Radiologists, Inc. He began practicing at the Kansas City Urology Research and Cancer Center upon it's opening in March 2006. He also has a practice at Menorah Medical Center.
