Greg Horwitz M.D.

Greg Horwitz M.D.Dr. Horwitz received his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Wisconsin — Madison in 1999. He continued his training at the University of Wisconsin — Madison and received his medical degree in 2003. While in medical school, he was class president, and was chosen for several awards including: the Lenehan Endowed Scholarship given to students deemed to be leaders among there classmates and the Medical Leadership and Service Award. Dr. Horwitz was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his urologic training at the University of Kansas in 2008 and graduated in one of the first classes to be formally trained in Robotic Surgery. As a Urology Resident Dr. Horwitz was able to present research at multiple respected professional conferences and worked as a research mentor in a program for beginning medical students.

Dr. Horwitz is now working in private practice at both North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri and St Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Horwitz practices all aspects of general urology including kidney stone disease, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, prostate problems and urologic cancers. He is trained to perform the latest surgical techniques including robotic and laparoscopic surgery and laser vaporization of the prostate.

Dr. Horwitz is a member of the Kansas City Urological Society, the American Urological Association, and an associate member of the Endourological Society.
