David F. Emmott M.D.

Dr. Emmott has been practicing in the field of urology since 1984. He received his BA degree in 1975 at the University of Oklahoma and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in 1979. His residency in urology was done at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 1982 to 1984.

Dr. Emmott has been certified by the American Board of Urology since 1986.

Licensed to practice medicine in both Kansas and Missouri, he pioneered the da Vinci™ Prostatectomy in the Kansas City area. He and Dr. Montgomery have successfully performed over 400 da Vinci™ Prostatectomies since December 2003. His experience with robotics is unsurpassed in this region. He is also a specialist in male infertility with interest in microsurgical vasectomy reversals.
