Brandon D. Pomeroy M.D., F.A.C.S.

Brandon Pomeroy, M.D., F.A.C.S.Dr. Pomeroy has been in private practice since 1998. He graduated with honors from Texas Christian University and received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed urologic training at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He then practiced in Hutchinson, Kansas, for three years before returning to his hometown of Kansas City. He is in private practice at St. Luke's Hospital.  In 2009, US News and World Report ranked the urology program at St. Luke's Hospital as one of the top 50 in the United States.

Dr. Pomeroy treats all aspects of urology including prostate cancer, benign prostatic enlargement, and kidney stones. Additionally, he has a special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of female urinary incontinence. The Tension-Free Vaginal Tape Sling is a well-tolerated and effective outpatient procedure that he has been performing with a high degree of success. Full urodynamic evaluations are available for both male and female patients with voiding dysfunction.

Dr. Pomeroy was certified by the American Board of Urology in 2000. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the South Central Section of the American Urologic Association, Kansas Medical Society, American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Missouri State Medical Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
