Brandan A. Kramer, MD

Dr. Kramer, a Topeka native, received his undergraduate degree with honors from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA in 2001.  While at Harvard, Dr. Kramer played football lettering three years and received the Bob McDermott most improved Tight End award in 2000.  He completed medical school at the University of Kansas in 2005.  He received the John D. Foret Urology Award given to the graduating student contributing the most to the field of urology.  He trained in Urological Surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL where he finished his training in 2010.  He learned robotic surgery on the new daVinci Si.  During his training Dr. Kramer presented at multiple national and regional meetings and won a best of the best video award at the American Urological Association annual meeting in Chicago.  He published multiple peer reviewed articles and research grants on bladder and kidney cancers during his time.  His publications include articles on robotic pyeloplasty, robotic sacrocolpopexy, and robotic skills development.

Dr. Kramer is now working at both North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri and St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  Dr. Kramer practices all aspects of adult urology including kidney stones, female incontinence, sexual dysfunction, prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.  He is trained in robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery.  He has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones.

Dr. Kramer is a member of the Kansas City Urological Society and the American Urological Association.  He is a reviewer for the Journal of Urology and the Journal of Endourology.  Dr. Kramer is Board Certified.
