Nicole Valdivia, BSN, MSN, NP

Nicole Valdivia, BSN, MSN, NP, received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, she practiced as a surgical scrub nurse specializing in Urology and Gynecology at North Kansas City Hospital. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2011.

Nicole is licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Missouri and Kansas. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of AANP, American Nurses Association, and the Nursing Honor Society-Sigma Theta Tau. She has completed 700 clinical hours in Internal Medicine.

In this role, she provides urological medical services to individuals in addition to managing acute episodic and chronic conditions. Nicole emphasizes the importance of health promotion and disease prevention; diagnosis and treatment of illnesses; and providing ongoing care, counseling and education by taking the time to listen to individual concerns and ensure patient advocacy. Her goal is to provide quality and efficient care to each individual.

Nicole’s clinical interests include general urology, incontinence, kidney stone disease, sexual dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, hematuria, overactive bladder, prostate conditions such as prostatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia, and other voiding disorders.
