KC Urology Care Sponsors Two Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Events
September 2010 – Kansas City, MO — In our ongoing quest to better support our prostate cancer patients, Kansas City Urology Care, through the Kansas City Prostate Cancer Foundation, is sponsoring several events this month during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month:
- The Great Prostate Cancer Challenge® 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Walk – please join in this run/walk to help support prostate cancer research. The race is planned for September 19th at 8am at our Overland Park office at 10701 Nall Ave. Advanced registration is encouraged at http://www.greatprostatecancerchallenge.com
- KC Urology Care is a title sponsor this year at the Faith Love Hope Win’s (FLHW) 6th Annual Golf Scramble to benefit prostate cancer patients in KC. FLHW is a KC foundation that supports prostate cancer research, awareness and those individuals that need financial assistance. This year’s golf tournament is at Ironhorse Golf Club on Friday, September 24th.
